The reason I’m actually in Barcelona. While it seems that all I’m doing is eating churros and ham, I’m very proud to be with the @AsianFilmAwards to support the Casa Asia initiative of bringing an awareness of Asian culture in Barcelona.

As the world becomes more interconnected, and Barcelona becomes home to more and more people of Asian descent, it is great to reflect on the culture, heritage, and rapid changes in Asia. As I’ve recently witnessed, film is a powerful medium to do so, and this is a great initiative to connect us all and celebrate the bonds that unite.

We will be showing 淪落人 Still Human twice in the #AFFBCN and I can’t wait to chat with the audience on Sunday. In the meantime, I’m going Asian cinema-hopping in this beautiful city.

Shoutout to Marella and Jimmychoo for making sure I match the city in style. Thank you, @styledbybhisan for getting this together!
